Registration schedule

Registration in Hotel Bernardin opposite to hotel registration desk (open hours) is possible on

  • Sunday 14:00 to 19:00 and
  • Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 19:00.

Daily registration is possible only for the current day. Pick-up of material is possible in the morning of the current day.

Poster mounting: Sunday 14:00 to 19:00.
Poster dismounting: Thursday during the lunch time — 14:00 at the latest.

Exhibitors: Sunday from 10:00 onwards.

* Early Stage Researcher (ESR) or Early Career Investigator (ECI) is a researcher in the period of up to 8 years after the date of obtaining the PhD/doctorate (full-time equivalent). Note that periods of career leave (e.g. maternity leave) have to be added to this time span.
**Student needs to be enrolled into a PhD programme (or undergraduate programme) for which he/she needs to provide proof from the University where the student is enrolled in the programme.
Please note that the Agency must receive the full amount as shown on the invoices for fees and all other expenses. Any bank charges must therefore be paid by the person making the payment - the Remitter.

Registration process

Congress registration is centrally handled by the Albatros Bled Congress Agency. You need to register as a new user at their central registration website – Click on Event – to obtain your username and password. This will allow you to register for the event as well as to modify your registration details afterwards. During the registration process you can also book accommodation and transfer.

Please follow the instructions given on the registration form. For the best user experience with the registration application, we recommend you use Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome browsers.

You can pay by credit card or by international bank transfer (detailed information is provided in the on-line registration form as well as below). After registration via the Click on Event system, you will receive an automated system confirmation by e-mail. This will be followed shortly by an invoice, sent to your e-mail address as provided at the time of registration. You are kindly asked to settle the charged amount in due time.

Please note that
  • The deadline for advance registration (lowest, early participation fee) is June 12, 2015.
  • The deadline for accommodation reservation is June 30, 2015.
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration and should be settled within 8 days following completion of the registration form (but not later than 15 days before the starting day of the event in case of late registration).
  • Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the participation fee is received.
  • One registration and payment of the participation fee per paper submission is expected/required.
  • In case of cancellation, 80% of participation fee is returned if cancelled by July 6, 2015. After this date, no refund is possible.
  • The congress programme may be subject to change.
  • Payments will be refunded in full if the congress should happen to be cancelled by the organizer. However, registrations remain valid if the event has to be postponed.
  • Express intent of cancellation must be received in written (per e-mail or fax).
  • Congress participation fees include 22% VAT.

Transfers

Individual transfers (payable to the driver) from Ljubljana, Trieste and Venice (Marco Polo) airports are offered also on the on-line registration form. In order to arrange for the transfer you are kindly asked to fill in all requested flight details during the registration process. Driver(s) will wait for you in the airports arrival lobbies with the congress sign (1st World Congress 2015). The rates will depend on the number of persons in the car or van (step 4 in the registration form).

Please note again that transportation can be arranged only if all flight details are provided.

For more information you can always contact the Albatros Agency. For the way back to the airport, "FINAL DEPARTURE LISTS" will be arranged according to the given details and will be published at the registration desk of the Congress where you will also be able to make changes.
