Piran, the dream city — guided tour through Piran — Sunday, September 6, 2015 (afternoon)

On Sunday afternoon, September 6, 2015 we will organize a short guided tour through City of Piran. Meeting point for guided walking tour to Piran at 4:00 p.m. will be at the lower entrance to Grand hotel Bernardin, by the hotel's lido (ground floor by the elevator) — comfortable walking shoes recommended!

From the vanue hotel to Piran is approx. 25 min. walking and you have to be back by 7:00 p.m.

One of the most photogenic cities in the Mediterranean, Piran has preserved its charm. The proximity to the sea and the rich history, which is mirrored in the architecture, draw magical scenes.

In Piran, you will feel as though you have stepped right into a picture postcard. You will be charmed by the narrow streets within the old town wall. In the main square, you will be greeted by the statue of the most famous man in Piran, the well-known Giuseppe Tartini, composer and virtuoso violinist who was born in a house just steps from the square. Having coffee, lunch or dinner surrounded by sounds of the sea will ensure pleasant memories for a long time to come.

City of Piran is very proud of its various cultural and art establishments such as the Tartini theatre, coastal galleries, Maritime museum and Aquarium.

Get Together Party — Sunday, September 6, 2015 (evening)

Get together Party, scheduled for Sunday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m.; meeting point will be on the hotel's terrace with a view and hotel's lobby

You are kindly invited to attend the Get Together Party, the opening event of the 1^st World Congress on Electroporation taking place on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 7.30 p.m. at Grand Hotel Bernardin Lobby & Grand Garden Terrace (11^th floor). The open-air Terrace offers a beautiful view of the Piran Bay and hopefully we will enjoy a magnificent sunset at 7:35 p.m.

Congress Dinner — Wednesday, September 9, 2015 (evening)

On Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 7.30 p.m. the official Congress Dinner will be served at the splendid ambient of the Grand Hotel Bernardin’s lido (ground floor) for all Congress participants and their spouses.
